What everything means
A tour of Wealthee's chart, signals, squeeze stack, options context, tools, journal, and account controls. Status labels tell you what is live now and what still needs source or parity work.
// APP GUIDE · 1
The header
The top strip controls the focused pane and shows its market and connection state at a glance.
- Ticker & link group Available
- Enter a symbol to load the focused pane. Matching color links synchronize only the chart, options, news, or watchlist surfaces assigned to the same group. Futures routing remains unavailable until a licensed futures adapter exists.
- Timeframe, history & bars Available
- Choose 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, 1D, 2D, 3D, 4D, 1W, or 1M, then set requested history and visible bars independently.
- Quote & trend readout Available
- The quote line carries the provider timestamp, current-bar OHLC, volume context, and freshness. Bull or Bear comes from Wealthee's transparent 9×20 EMA regime; Fading means MACD direction or momentum opposes it. It is not presented as Clark formula parity.
- Live & provider state Available
- LIVE pauses or resumes automatic quote and candle refresh for the workspace. Connection status identifies the actual provider, feed, entitlement, and last observation. DEMO and stale states stay visible instead of being dressed up as live data.
- Alerts, lists, news & scanner Available
- The compact tools open the matching right-side dock. Chart-created price alerts, user lists, provider-attributed headlines, and Bull/Bear scanner results all use the same linked symbol context.
- Options, journal, layout & keys Available
- Open the options dock, paper journal, split-layout control, or owner-only connection dialog without leaving the chart. Saved keys are write-only and Windows-encrypted outside the public web folder.
- Support assistant Paper workflow
- The in-app paper assistant explains the workspace and helps assemble evidence. It does not provide live trade authority, change billing, install code in thinkorswim, or submit broker orders.
- Update pill Available
- When a new app shell has installed,
Reload to updateappears. The current chart session stays untouched until you click it; the new version never hot-swaps mid-session.

Signals & the squeeze stack
The price and lower panes keep compression, momentum, release, and later confirmation separate so agreement is visible without hiding the evidence.
- Signal bubbles Source-backed
- Timeframe-labelled Call and Put bubbles are rendered from the supplied CloudMAX, 4×8, MACD, and mid/gold squeeze-release sources where those sources actually define them. Several bubbles close together show agreement, not a new composite formula.
- Forming-bar signals Explicit
- Higher-timeframe states that are still forming remain visibly provisional and may disappear before close. Completed-bar and provisional evidence are never merged into the same claim.
- Signal animation Presentation only
- Optional glow and candle effects highlight recent signals without changing their timestamps or logic. Historical bubbles stay readable when animation is off or reduced motion is requested.
- Direct timeframe row Available
- Each timeframe control selects zero, one, or many SqueezeChain lanes. Its body shows the recovered EMA context while the embedded dot shows compression: white high, gold mid, blue low, or dark when released.
- The Squeeze Chain Source-backed
- Every selected timeframe uses the recovered
SqueezeChain0momentum formula. Up, Up Decreasing, Down, and Down Decreasing retain their source colors. Compression is a separate dot layer; spotlighting or fading colors changes presentation only. - EMA bias legend Jacob variant
- Wealthee displays Jacob's captured 9×20 state. Clark's guide describes a 9/21 state plus a 50-EMA disagreement split; that extra split is not treated as authoritative without Jacob's source.
- MACD2X, ADX, volume & stochastic Source-backed
- Lower panes keep recovered MACD2X, MTF ADX, Buy/Sell Volume, Relative Volume, SqueezeChain0, MTF labels/squeeze, and the two StochasX instances distinct. No generic “Momo Wave” is claimed as exact parity.
- Reversal wedges & divergence Independent rule
- Stochastic exit wedges follow the supplied 10/90 behavior. Confirmed 3-left/3-right divergence is a disclosed Wealthee rule; a Clark-style doubled “major” wedge still needs an exact source and acceptance fixture.
- Custom calculated studies Safe subset
- One saved study can calculate against loaded bars on the price pane or synchronized Custom lower pane. A formula supports up to 12 reusable values, one plot, prior-bar references, and documented helpers such as CrossesAbove/Below; unsupported functions, multiple plots, and unsafe syntax are rejected.

Clouds, bands & levels
Chart context is layered by job: trend clouds, fixed session maps, open-interest levels, and daily reference lines never substitute for a signal.
- Momentum clouds Source-backed
- CloudMAX and the recovered EMA, MACD, and squeeze cloud families are independently toggleable. Teal and magenta communicate their source-defined direction; mixed layers mean mixed context, not certainty.
- CloudMAX moving averages Source-backed
- The supplied source defines EMA 9 magenta, EMA 21 yellow, EMA 50 cyan, EMA 200 light green, and SMA 200 dark green. Each line and the 9–21 and 21–50 clouds can be configured without changing the underlying bars.
- Signal clouds & squeeze releases Source-backed boundary
- The supplied MomoX2 cloud covers captured mid/gold releases from 5m through 4h with its documented session gate. Low-squeeze clouds are disclosed Wealthee extensions, and daily release clouds stay disabled.
- Ichimoku projections Partial source
- Jacob's packet supports captured 5m and 4h Span B levels plus a 5m label. Clark-style forward tails that recolor from live close-versus-span behavior are not claimed until their formula is sourced.
- Expected-move bands Provider-backed
- Option-implied bands appear only from a real timestamped chain snapshot and freeze by generation. Touch redraws and scheduled captures remain explicit, persisted records rather than repainting decorations.
- High-OI levels & walls Source-styled variant
- Real provider-ranked strikes use the supplied Gold/Mags call/put palette and expiry dash groups. Rankings, delta, side, count, within-EM, and extension filters stay visible. A tested demand/supply interpretation is never inferred from a touch alone.
- Key levels Available
- Prior day/week/month H/L and O/C, source-backed higher-timeframe moving averages, standard pivots, recovered Person's Pivots, ATH percentages, AutoFib, and right-edge labels remain separate toggles.
- Named chart styles and workspaces Available
- Chart styles save visual configuration without changing symbols, drawings, alerts, or calculations. Workspaces save the larger arrangement: symbols, intervals, panes, links, dock, layout, and view state.

The options dock
The right-side dock turns a timestamped option-chain snapshot into chart context while preserving the source and freshness of every level.
- Chain Available
- Inspect provider-supplied calls and puts by delta, volume, open interest, strike, last, expiration, and DTE. Missing fields remain missing rather than estimated.
- High OI Available
- Reduce the chain to ranked open-interest contracts per side. The same ranked set drives chart underlines and walls, with source, capture time, expiration scope, and stale state attached.
- Overlay Available
- Send High-OI lines, call/put walls, and expected-move generations to the chart. Each layer can be hidden independently without erasing the underlying snapshot.
- Within ±EM filter Available
- Show strikes inside the active expected-move band plus the configured edge context. It is a display filter only; the original top-per-side rankings do not change.
- Expected-move generations Disclosed web method
- EM freezes the first valid provider ATM-straddle snapshot for the session. EM2 and EM3 wait for a recorded boundary touch and the next valid snapshot; EM.2H and EM.PH are separate scheduled captures. This behavior is not claimed as exact MomoX parity.
- Refresh & errors Available
- Manual refresh is separate from dock sizing. Authentication, provider, symbol mismatch, and staleness failures replace old values with an explicit status instead of silently preserving a misleading live display.

Tools & panes
Chart tools preserve their price/time anchors and workspace state while each pane keeps its own symbol, timeframe, and focus.
- Drawing rail Available
- Select/move, horizontal and vertical lines, trends, rays, rectangles, ellipses, Fibonacci, arrows, text, crosshair, percent, lock, hide, delete, z-order, named sets, and alert creation are price/time anchored.
- Floating mini charts Available
- Pin a secondary pane into a draggable, resizable floating chart with its own symbol, timeframe, signals, and saved placement, then return it to a split layout when needed.
- Price lock & candle glide Available
- Price Lock preserves the captured price span and anchor. Candle Glide interpolates only the unfinished last candle toward a newer quote; completed bars, calculations, and provider records never move.
- Bars ahead & scale Available
- Set right-side runway, top/bottom price padding, visible bars, axis visibility, fit-to-data, and follow-latest behavior without changing the source history request.
- Countdown & timezone Display layer
- Bar-close timing and the selected display zone belong to the legend only. Every engine, session boundary, and stored timestamp keeps its documented market/exchange timezone.
- Sub-studies Available
- Switch among squeeze, MACD2X, MTF ADX, Volume, Stochastic, and Custom lower panes. The price/lower divider supports mouse, touch, and keyboard resizing and persists its size.
- Workspaces & pane splits Available
- Named workspaces save layouts, symbols, settings, link groups, drawings, panes, and dock state. Multi-pane grids can keep independent symbols and timeframes or synchronize selected surfaces by color link.
- Timeframe rows Available
- Direct timeframe controls select which squeeze-chain lanes and context remain visible. Hiding a row is a display choice and never rewrites its stored calculation.
- Chart-on-chart & Trade Recap Available
- Comparison fetches a second real symbol at the active timeframe and plots normalized percent performance. Trade Recap reads timestamped journal records; drawings are never invented as executions.

The Trading Journal
Paper entries are captured with the chart state that existed at the decision, so later review has evidence instead of memory.
- Trade recap Available
- Open a recap from the chart and capture symbol, timeframe, side, quantity, entry, protective stop, targets, option fields, provider provenance, and the visible multi-timeframe state. No broker order is sent.
- Partial exits & close Available
- Timestamped trims reduce remaining quantity and calculate realized paper P/L. A final close exits only the remainder, preserving every prior exit.
- Notes, tags & grades Available
- Store thesis, free-form notes, strategy, grade, and source snapshot beside the trade so the recap remains reviewable after the chart changes.
- Stats, calendar & goals Available
- The journal summarizes records and goals while keeping paper and real labels explicit. Export the bounded record set as CSV for independent review.
- Mentor notes Not enabled
- Clark's guide describes private mentor annotations and unread badges. Wealthee has no authorized mentor role or sharing policy yet, so this remains out of scope.
- Community share cards Not enabled
- Discord recap publishing is not wired to a webhook or human approval flow. Source-review tools for imported Discord evidence are separate and never auto-post.

Account & data
Private access, user-scoped records, and truthful provider state form the outer boundary of the workstation.
- Profile & sessions Available
- The owner can manage the display identity, inspect signed-in sessions, revoke one browser, or sign out every device. Invite-only members receive separate alerts, lists, scanners, journal, and workspace records.
- Where keys live Server-side encrypted
- Alpaca, Tradier, Schwab, and mail credentials are write-only and protected with Windows DPAPI outside the public site. They are never returned to the browser, logs, exports, or friend accounts.
- Schwab session Verification gated
- OAuth authorization, refresh, and a bounded history check are supported. Schwab stays inactive for chart and scanner calculations until entitlement behavior and same-completed-bar TOS parity are verified.
- Private remote access Protected preview
- The stateful Python service stays on Jacob's Windows computer and can be exposed through an outbound HTTPS tunnel with required sign-in. A temporary address works only while the computer, app, and tunnel are running.
- Permanent server address Domain needed
- A stable hostname requires Jacob's registered domain, DNS, named tunnel, and access policy. Moving to an always-on host also requires an approved migration for encrypted secrets, SQLite state, backups, and monitoring.
- Browser zoom & install PWA
- Use browser zoom for the entire workspace and install Wealthee from the browser's app or Add to Home Screen control. Responsive layouts keep chart-first access on smaller screens.
- Sample data Clearly labelled
- Representative data demonstrates the interface before a market provider is ready. Demo prices, signals, and option rows are never described as live or used as proof of parity.
- Billing, referrals & device caps Not copied
- Those claims belong to Clark's product. Wealthee does not add subscription, referral, or device-limit workflows without a separate product and security decision from Jacob.
- Trading authority Disabled
- No live order route is exposed. Paper automation remains bounded by source parity, freshness, deterministic risk checks, and blind validation evidence.
